Presidents Cup gives back to Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation

U.S. Team Captain Jim Furyk and International Team Captain Mike Weir attended the 47th edition of the Montreal Canadiens Golf Tournament at Club Laval-sur-le-lac Golf Club. The pair participated as celebrity guests, hosted by current team captain Nick Suzuki and Canadiens legend Yvan Cournoyer. During the event, the Presidents Cup made a charitable donation of $100,000 to the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation encourages physical activity and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among underprivileged youth aged 4 to 17 years old. The donation from the Presidents Cup will go toward helping kids gain the necessary abilities and the confidence to play sports and participate in physical activities, allowing the Canadiens to offer Learn to Skate programs over the course of winter to over 600 underprivileged children on the Foundation’s outdoor rinks.
