Presidents Cup Continues Charitable Impact with $75,000 Donation to Three Professional Chicago Sports Teams’ Charities
Bears Care, Chicago Bulls Charities and White Sox Charities each receive $25,000 donations during check presentation at Medinah Country Club; charity representatives and former athletes attend
CHICAGO - (August 4, 2026) - The Presidents Cup, taking place at Medinah Country Club’s Course No. 3. September 22-27, 2026, will leave a lasting legacy in Chicago communities by donating $25,000 each to Bears Care, Chicago Bulls Charities and Chicago White Sox Charities.
To celebrate the news, Executive Director of the 2026 Presidents Cup, Joie Chitwood III welcomed former athletes from each team and representatives from each charity to Medinah Country Club on Tuesday, August 4 for a check presentation, showcase of the tournament build and a round of golf.
“Not only is the Presidents Cup about bringing world-class golf competition to the Chicago area, but it is also about creating a meaningful and lasting impact in the communities that welcome us,” says Chitwood III. “As we prepare to bring this global moment, we are proud to invest in the organizations that are making a difference here every day.
