Things to Know
- Reed earned his seventh career PGA TOUR victory at THE NORTHERN TRUST to go along with four other top-10 finishes during the 2018-19 PGA TOUR Season.
- Married to Justine Reed (2012); they have two children: Windsor-Wells Reed (2014) Barrett Benjamin Reed (2017)
- Patrick is most proud of being a father. He views this as his greatest responsibility he will ever have. He wants to be a great father, to be present and support Windsor Wells and Barrett in everything they choose to do and love them unconditionally and to teach them to work hard for their dreams.
- Patrick’s wife, Justine, caddied for Patrick through their Monday Qualifier earlier in his career. They were successful in 6 out of 8 Monday Qualifiers in 2012. They made it through all three stages of Q-School, winning two of them and went on to earn his PGA Tour Card in final stage of Q-School in 2012. Justine would drive them through the night (after caddying) to get them to the next tournament so he could Monday qualify.
- After winning the WGC-Doral, he accepted full membership on the European Tour and has held his European Tour card since 2015, being the only American to hold both PGA TOUR and European Tour cards at the same time since and has been the only American to do so.
- He was recently awarded an honorary lifetime Membership on the European Tour, becoming only the fourth American behind Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus to achieve and be awarded this honor.
- Is the only player to qualify for every TOUR Championship and play on every U.S. team since 2014.
