Things to Know
- Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, Adam was raised in Abbotsford along with his little brother, Kyle, whom he calls one of his best friends.
- Adam’s Dad, Gerry Hadwin, was a golf pro. Adam credits his dad as his first coach.
- Though he’s not the biggest or most athletic player on Tour, Adam takes pride in living a healthy lifestyle and puts time and effort into his fitness and nutrition.
- Attended the University of Louisville on a golf scholarship and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Business Management. Was the 2009 Big East individual champion and an Academic All-American
- Adam had his best season to date in 2017, shooting 59 at the CareerBuilder Challenge, winning the Valspar Championship, qualifying for the TOUR Championship and representing the International Team at the Presidents Cup.
- For eight years, Adam has been hosting a charity event that supports the CH.I.L.D. Foundation (Foundation for Children with Intestinal and Liver Disorders. C.H.I.L.D. Foundation was one of his charity beneficiaries from the 2017 Presidents Cup
- Adam’s brother Kyle was diagnosed with Crohn’s at a young age. Adam's charity efforts have raised close to a $1,000,000 over the years.
