Presidents Cup Fan Experience

During the week of the 2017 Presidents Cup, The Oculus at World Trade Center will host the Presidents Cup Fan Experience, an incredible interactive experience with three golf simulators, two putting greens, a 4D Dome short-film experience, high-tech social media walls, a Presidents Cup shopping experience, a global tasting adventure and interactive programming including the live broadcast of the Presidents Cup. The space will be open to fans each day, September 26-October 1. The Presidents Cup will bring the Presidents Cup Fan Experience to The Oculus and its 465,000-plus daily commuters, free of charge. The PCFE opens each day, Tuesday - Sunday, at 11 a.m.
Citi 44 Million Yard Challenge
To celebrate the Presidents Cup and its charitable impact around the world, the PGA TOUR and Citi are proud to announce the Citi 44 Million Yard Challenge, starting August 17 and running through the 2017 Presidents Cup. We’re inviting everyone to help us drive a golf ball 44 million yards around the world, the circumference of the globe. In honor of the challenge, Citi is donating enough for No Kid Hungry to provide one million meals to kids in need. No Kid Hungry’s mission is to end childhood hunger in America by connecting kids in need with nutritious food, as well as teaching families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. THE 4D IMMERSIVE DOME EXPERIENCE
Comedy Central’s James Davis takes attendees through the iconic backdrop of Liberty National Golf Club from the perspective of a golf ball in Par for the Course. Davis, host of the just-completed first season of Hood Adjacent, is an avid golfer and is the voice of the film’s main character. The dome experience will allow for up to 40 seated participants for the just-shy of six minutes short-film. The immersive nature will be a surprise for viewing participants.
Official Merchandise
The Presidents Cup Fan Experience will be the only location where fans see and touch – and purchase – limited-edition merchandise, outside of Liberty National; LACOSTE, official apparel provider of the Presidents Cup, will be prominently featured in the event space as well, where they recently opened a new store.
Global Tasting Adventure
Celebrating the global reach of the event and its players, fans can enjoy the delicacies from around the world and from the home countries of Presidents Cup participants. Among the international items fans can experience are Venezuelan handmade arepas, Argentinian chimichurri grilled skirt steak, Japanese sushi, South Korean spicy garlic chicken wings, Australian spiced beef hand pies, South African bunny chow, Canadian beaver tails and Indian vegetable samosas, as well as American favorites, roasted chicken, BLTs and barbecue pork. Local drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase.

Fans will have the opportunity to see and hear live updates from Liberty National Golf Club; take part in potential meet-and-greets and autograph signings with dignitaries from the world of golf and beyond; and track social engagements and fan moments captured on state-of-the-art LED screens, including a multi-screen social hub that follows the Citi 44 Million Yard Challenge and aggregates Presidents Cup social posts. Golf Channel’s Morning Drive will be broadcast Tuesday and Wednesday morning live from the Presidents Cup Fan Experience.
