Everything you need to know before arriving to the 2022 Presidents Cup

Charlotte is a culture as much as it is a city. The character of the city is woven into the fabric of the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow Club on both sides of the rope. From exclusive food offerings from some of the most famous spots in the Queen City to places throughout the course for fans to relax, refresh and enjoy the TOUR’s top players, the Presidents Cup is a celebration of Charlotte.

The First Tee

The First Tee will feature a stadium arena unlike anything the Presidents Cup has ever built before. With capacity up to 2,500 fans, the first tee will transform into an arena-like venue, packed from start to finish with enthusiasm and entertainment, including Thursday’s presentation of the Cup (opening ceremony) at the beginning of competition. Just outside the first tee, hungry fans can find Sunflour Bakery located between No. 1 tee and No. 18 green.

Noda and Southend

For food partners, the Presidents Cup will create an onsite experience reflective of the Charlotte culture, working closely with local restauranters to bring the feel of the Queen City to Quail Hollow. Charlotte neighborhoods NoDa and South End inspired areas on the golf course will offer ticketholders food options from those respective communities.

Citi Interactive Zone

Fans looking for a more interactive way to participate in the event can visit the Citi Interactive Zone, located to the right of 16 fairway, open to the public. Try out virtual swing simulators replicating QHC and take advantage of the chipping and putting area.

Citi Lounge

Citi Cardholders can also take advantage of the Citi Lounge on 9 Green, a venue exclusive to cardholders with food and beverage for purchase with a relaxing area to enjoy matches coming through the 9th hole. Complimentary mobile charging devices will also be available to fans around the course, courtesy of Citi.

The Dock

For a unique viewing experience, venture over to the edge of the lake adjacent to No. 10 Fairway, facing 14 green, where The Dock juts out over the lake, allowing fans to gain unmatched vantage points while sitting on the water to catch matches between three different holes. The outdoor venue will also include a Tito’s Stillhouse bar for fans that want to grab a signature cocktail or other mixed drinks offered by Tito’s.

The Green Mile Lawn

The Green Mile Lawn will be an open-air space between 13 and 15 fairways that will feature Charlotte’s Noble Smoke BBQ and Viva Chicken, in addition to a second Two Scoops Creamery location. The space will also have accessible seating and scoreboards for viewing pleasure.

Tito's Stillhouse Lounge

Look no further than the Tito’s Stillhouse Lounge located within the Southend in the heart of the action. Find all of this and more scattered throughout the course at our numerous concession and bar locations.

Wine and Dine

Thirsty fans should also check out the Wine and Dine featuring Meiomi Wines at 16 Fairway for red, white and rose selections.

Concession Stands

Located throughout the course, concession stands will offer food and beverages for sale. Food items will include sandwich options, chips, burgers, bbq and more along with coca-cola products. Several beer, wine and spirit options will be available for purchase to fans 21-and-over. Beginning at the concession level, Michelob ULTRA, the Official Beer partner, will offer Michelob ULTRA, ULTRA Organic Seltzer and more for purchase.

Visiting the Fan Shop is a must for any fan looking to take home a souvenir from the 2022 event. Similar to the first tee, this venue will be one of the largest of its kind, amassing over 40,000 square feet worth of space for spectators to shop. A wide selection of apparel brands including Nike, Adidas, Lululemon, Peter Millar and 704 Shop – a local Charlotte brand – can be found, in addition to non-apparel favorites like cups, koozies, pin flags, golf balls and more.

Atrium Health, the Official Healthcare Provider of the Presidents Cup will provide on-site physicians and medical support teams to deliver care to spectators, volunteers, staff, players and caddies throughout tournament week.

Atrium Health grandstands

Located on No. 5 green / No. 6 tee, as well as No. 10 green, will provide shaded canopies for spectators, as well as educational elements tied to protecting spectators from the sun. Also, for the benefit of health and wellbeing of spectators, Cognizant is sponsoring four water refill stations throughout the course as well as giving away 100 free water bottles per day to fans.

In addition to general parking options for purchase, a number of other efficient transportation options will be available to ticket holders including rideshare drop-off via Uber and Lyft, a shuttle from the Charlotte Convention Center, as well as the LYNX Blue Line.

Ticket holders traveling to the Presidents Cup from Uptown may consider the Charlotte Convention Center shuttle as the most convenient and cost-efficient mode of transportation. Board the complimentary shuttle at the Convention Center on E M.L.K. Jr. Blvd to ride to and from Quail Hollow Club at your leisure, offering an ideal experience for those looking to get the most out of the tournament as well as exploring Uptown Charlotte.

Making it easier than ever to get to Quail Hollow Club, the Presidents Cup has partnered with the City of Charlotte to offer transportation via Light Rail. Ticket holders are encouraged to use the LYNX Blue Line which will transport fans to and from the event with multiple on-boarding locations en route to Quail Hollow. Exit the Light Rail at Sharon Road West Station where shuttles will then transport travelers to the main entrance.

For fans that don’t want to drive, tournament officials recommend using rideshare as one of the fastest ways to get to the tournament action. An Uber or Lyft pick-up/drop-off lot will be located on Gleneagles Rd, just across the street from the main entrance to the Presidents Cup.

For ticket holders interested in driving their vehicle to the 2022 event, a variety of parking options are available with six different designations and pricing ranging from complimentary to $40, subject to tax and fees.
