Enhanced security measures and additional restrictions will be in place at Medinah Country Club due to President Donald J. Trump’s planned visit to the 2026 Presidents Cup on Sunday, September 27.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. Spectators should make every effort to restrict personal items to a minimum.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive as early as possible and should anticipate extra travel time to Medinah Country Club as they plan their day.

In addition to the regular event entrances, spectators will be subjected to TSA-style screening checkpoints around the 1st Tee Grandstand and surrounding areas. If spectators leave these secure areas, they will need to be screened again prior to re-entering that area. Spectators should also anticipate temporary delays when moving through publicly accessible areas on the property. Certain areas may briefly become restricted or paused before, during, or after the event to support security operations.

Seating in the 1st Tee Grandstands is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As soon as gates open at 8 a.m., fans are encouraged to visit the 1st Tee to receive a complimentary RFID wristband and scan in to reserve your seat for the day’s opening festivities and first tee shots.

Once scanned in, your wristband will hold your place in the grandstands. Spectators are welcome to remain at the 1st Tee Grandstands to enjoy a limited food and beverage menu available for purchase as well as bathroom access. If spectators would like to leave the area and explore the grounds or visit the Fan Shop, they can simply tap their wristband at the RFID portal when exiting the 1st Tee Grandstand and tap back upon return. If spectators leave the secure areas, they will need to be screened again prior to re-entering that area.

To keep your guaranteed seat, you must return and tap back into the 1st Tee no later than 9:45 a.m. Wristbands that have not been scanned back in by this time will no longer guarantee access to the grandstands, and those seats may be made available to other fans.
