Tim Clark and Taylor Pendrith Named International Team Captain’s Assistants for the 2026 Presidents Cup

PGA TOUR winners round out Captain Ogilvy’s leadership team at Medinah

CHICAGO  International Team Captain Geoff Ogilvy announced today that PGA TOUR winners Tim Clark and Taylor Pendrith have been named captain's assistants for the 2026 Presidents Cup, which will be played at Medinah Country Club's Course No. 3, Sept. 22-27.

Clark and Pendrith become the third and fourth members of Ogilvy's captain's assistant roster and will join fellow assistants Trevor Immelman and Camilo Villegas as part of the International Team’s leadership group.

"Taylor and Tim each bring unique experiences and perspectives that will be invaluable to our team as we prepare for Medinah," said Ogilvy. "Tim has represented the International Team on some of the biggest stages and understands what it takes to compete in team golf, while Taylor represents both the present and future of our team, having played a key role in our recent Presidents Cup campaigns. Both are highly respected by our players, and I'm excited to have them alongside us as we continue building toward 2026."

Clark, the 2010 PLAYERS Champion, returns to the Presidents Cup leadership team for the second time, having previously served as a captain's assistant to Greg Norman at the 2011 Presidents Cup at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club. In 2022, Clark served as the International Team Captain for the Junior Presidents Cup in Charlotte.

A three-time International Team competitor, the South African made appearances in 2003 at The Links Course at Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate in South Africa, 2005 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club and 2009 at TPC Harding Park. Across his three Presidents Cup appearances, Clark compiled a career record of 6-7-2.

"The Presidents Cup has always held a special place in my career, and it's an honor to once again serve the International Team in a leadership role," said Clark. "I've experienced this event as a player and as a captain's assistant, and I'm looking forward to working with Geoff, the captain’s assistants and our players as we prepare for Medinah. The International Team has built tremendous momentum in recent years, and I'm excited to be part of that journey."

Pendrith will make his first appearance as a captain's assistant after representing the International Team as a competitor in each of the last two Presidents Cups (2022, 2024). The 35-year-old was a captain's pick for Trevor Immelman's team in 2022 and again for Mike Weir in 2024. Pendrith owns a Presidents Cup record of 2-7-0 and captured his maiden PGA Tour victory at the 2024 CJ CUP Byron Nelson. During the 2026 season, Pendrith made 24 starts and recorded a pair of standout results, including a T6 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii and a runner-up finish at the ISCO Championship.

"Representing the International Team has been one of the greatest honors of my career, so being asked to serve as a captain's assistant is incredibly meaningful," said Pendrith. "I've learned so much from the captains and leaders I've played under, and I'm grateful to Geoff for this opportunity. I'm looking forward to supporting our players in any way I can and helping our team continue the progress we've made heading into Medinah.”
