Presidents Cup debuts Club 1Password in partnership with newest Global Partner
1Password-sponsored premium hospitality venue will deliver an exclusive viewing experience for fans
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada – The Presidents Cup and 1Password announced today that the event’s newest Global Partner has been named Title Partner of Club 1Password, one of the premium hospitality venues featured onsite when the event returns to The Royal Montreal Golf Club, September 24-29, 2024. The venue was previously named the Captains’ Club.
1Password is a leader in identity security with the mission to eliminate the conflict between security and productivity. With its newly released 1Password Extended Access Management solution, the company empowers businesses of all sizes to secure every sign-in for every app on every device, even the unmanaged ones that often fall outside the control of IT and security teams. On July 9, the company was announced as the 2024 Presidents Cup’s third Global Partner, joining Rolex and Cognizant.
“We’re thrilled to be a global partner for this year’s Presidents Cup and to now unveil Club 1Password – a premium hospitality venue that will be located between the 15th and 17th tees,” said Melton Littlepage, Chief Marketing Officer, 1Password. “Club 1Password will provide 5,000 attendees each day with an engaging and interactive experience, including places to grab a meal, socialize with fellow golf fans, and take in the tournament coverage on one of the many screens displaying the action on the course.”
Club 1Password is a multi-level venue offering sweeping views of The Royal Montreal Golf Club with an expansive patio space to take in the action. The venue, which provides upgraded food and beverage options for purchase, will feature an open-air second floor as well as indoor and outdoor bars with TVs so fans don’t miss a single moment.
“We were thrilled to welcome 1Password as a Global Partner for this year’s Presidents Cup, and it’s tremendous to further that partnership as we look to elevate our hospitality offerings onsite,” said Executive Director Ryan Hart. “Club 1Password will be a lively scene at Royal Montreal as fans are situated in a key area of the course for match play, putting forth an exciting sports bar experience for those looking to enjoy the competition and camaraderie.”
As host of the 2007 and 2024 Presidents Cups, The Royal Montreal Golf Club will become the second international venue to host the event more than once, joining The Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia, a three-time host.
