For fans that don’t want to drive, tournament officials recommend using rideshare as one of the fastest ways to get to the tournament action. An Uber or Lyft pick-up/drop-off lot will be located on Gleneagles Rd, just across the street from the main entrance to the Presidents Cup.
Making it easier than ever to get to Quail Hollow Club, the Presidents Cup has partnered with the City of Charlotte to offer transportation via Light Rail. Ticket holders are encouraged to use the LYNX Blue Line which will transport fans to and from the event with multiple on-boarding locations en route to Quail Hollow. Exit the Light Rail at Sharon Road West Station where shuttles will then transport travelers to the main entrance.
Ticket holders traveling to the Presidents Cup from Uptown may consider the Charlotte Convention Center shuttle as the most convenient and cost-efficient mode of transportation. Board the complimentary shuttle at the Convention Center on E M.L.K. Jr. Blvd to ride to and from Quail Hollow Club at your leisure, offering an ideal experience for those looking to get the most out of the tournament as well as exploring Uptown Charlotte.
“We are excited to offer a multitude of parking and transportation options for fans attending the Presidents Cup in September, and hope that by spreading these locales around we’ll create a seamless experience for everyone,” said Executive Director Adam Sperling. “If you are looking to purchase a parking pass, we encourage you to do so quickly, and for those using rideshare or the LYNX Blue Line, adjust your arrival time accordingly based on traffic patterns throughout the week.”
While Friday and Saturday Grounds tickets are sold out, fans can still purchase tickets to Thursday or Sunday of the event. Thursday offers incredible fan experiences along with the ability to attend the presentation of the trophy on the 1st Tee immediately prior to the opening matches, a celebration set to feature various dignitaries, the 2022 Captains and their teams. Sunday is always a can’t-miss day at the Presidents Cup with some of the most historic moments in event history coming down to the final matches.
