CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – Presidents Cup officials announced today that tickets for the 2022 event, set for September 19-25 at Quail Hollow Club, will go on sale to the public Friday, October 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The ticket launch will feature options for General Admission (single day) as well as the upgraded Captains’ Club (weekly and single day), and will be available by visiting PresidentsCup.com.
“We are looking forward to bringing the Presidents Cup to Quail Hollow Club in 2022, as Charlotte continues to be a premier global destination for sports fans around the world,” said Executive Director Adam Sperling. “We are unveiling ticket options that will cater to fans locally and abroad as we look to deliver a tremendous fan-first onsite experience throughout every facet of the event.”
A General Admission ticket giving spectators access to Quail Hollow Club will start at $40 for Tuesday, $60 for Wednesday, and $100 to attend Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday are non-competition rounds, while Thursday through Sunday will feature Presidents Cup competition. All tickets provide fans with access to several open-to-the-public venues, the ability to taste local fare from premier Charlotte-based restaurants, and an opportunity to stand along the rope line to watch the world’s top players compete for their respective teams.
Captains' Club ticket packages put fans between Nos. 1 and 8 at Quail Hollow Club in a venue that provides unmatched views of the course. This hospitality space includes an expansive balcony, sports bar environment, premium food and beverage options, and more. Captains’ Club weekly tickets (Wednesday-Sunday) start at $750, while daily tickets start at $175 for Wednesday and $250 for Thursday through Sunday.
Fans looking for hospitality access can purchase weekly passes (Wednesday-Sunday) to the International Club, located on the back lawn of the Quail Hollow Club clubhouse. This climate-controlled venue includes complimentary food and beverage, views of the first tee grandstand video board, as well as reserved viewing decks on 16 tee and the putting green. The teams for next year’s Presidents Cup will be determined through U.S. and International Team standings which will be finalized at the conclusion of the 2022 BMW Championship. The top eight players will earn automatic spots on their respective teams, while Captains Davis Love III and Trevor Immelman will make four captain’s picks each to round out the 12-player teams.
“We have seen incredible finishes during the 2020-21 PGA TOUR season from Presidents Cup-eligible players, including major championship wins by Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, Hideki Matsuyama and Collin Morikawa, as well as Justin Thomas’ victory at THE PLAYERS Championship in March,” said Sperling. “As we look toward 2022, the foundation is being set for the best players to shine on golf’s premier global stage at Quail Hollow.”
Quail Hollow Club will be the fifth golf course in the United States to host the Presidents Cup, joining Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Prince William County, Virginia (1994, 1996, 2000, 2005); TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California (2009, 2025); Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio (2013); and Liberty National in Jersey City, New Jersey (2017).
Quail Hollow Club has hosted the Wells Fargo Championship since 2003 and brought the PGA Championship to Charlotte in 2017. The 2022 Wells Fargo Championship will be contested at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C.
