Experience the Energy of the 1st Tee at Presidents Cup
Get ready for one of the most exciting spectator experiences in Presidents Cup history. The 1st Tee at the 2026 Presidents Cup will feature a stadium arena unlike anything the event has ever seen, creating an electric atmosphere for players and fans alike.
With seating for up to 5,000 spectators, the 1st Tee will come alive from the opening moments of each competition day with nonstop energy, entertainment and unforgettable views. The excitement begins on Thursday with the Presentation of the Cup, the official opening ceremony that kicks off match play and sets the stage for an incredible week.
To make the most of your day, head to the 1st Tee upon arrival and pick up a complimentary wristband to secure your seat in the grandstands for the day's opening festivities.
The excitement starts long before the first match gets underway. The 1st Tee will be packed with entertainment including:
- Music from a live DJ will keep the atmosphere buzzing as fans fill the grandstands.
- Tim Sinclair, the iconic voice of the Chicago Bulls, will serve as 1st Tee starter, bringing his signature energy to kick off the day's competition.
- During Thursday's Presentation of the Cup, Jim Cornelison, renowned for his performances at Chicago sporting events, will perform the national anthem.
- A Chicago legend known for his unmistakable wit, larger-than-life personality and lifelong love of the city will make a surprise appearance to unveil the Presidents Cup trophy. You'll have to be there to see who it is.
- Keeping the fun going at the first tee is Jon Hansen, familiar to Chicago sports fans as the Blackhawks' arena host and WGN radio host.
Please note: Wristband holders must be seated at the 1st Tee no later than 30 minutes before the start of competition to guarantee their reserved seat. Arrive early, soak in the atmosphere and be part of one of the week's most memorable moments.
Seating in the 1st Tee grandstands is available on a first-come, first-served basis each day. Upon arrival, visit the 1st Tee to receive a complimentary RFID wristband and scan in to secure your seat for the day's opening festivities and first tee shots.
Once scanned in, your wristband will hold your place in the grandstands. You're welcome to remain at the 1st Tee or step out to explore the grounds, visit the Fan Shop or grab food and drinks.
Planning to leave and come back? Simply tap your wristband at the RFID portal when exiting the 1st Tee and tap back in when you return.
To keep your guaranteed seat, you must return and tap back into the 1st Tee no later than 30 minutes before the first group tees off. Wristbands that have not been scanned back in by this time will no longer guarantee access to the grandstands, and those seats may be made available to other fans.
We encourage fans to arrive early, secure their wristband and return with plenty of time to enjoy the full 1st Tee experience.
